Responsible Innovation: Move Fast and Fix Things
Tuesday, March 16, 2021
10:15 AM to 11:10 AM CT

Designing technology in a user-centered way is considered fundamental to “good” outcomes. Doing so has lead to innovations that have profoundly shaped the world we’re living in. With that world experiencing juddering, fitful and widespread change, we want to reconsider that tenet — Are we building connection or becoming disconnected from each other, our decisions, and our world? How we might evolve our fundamentals so that we build a more healthful, kind and responsible future. Put a different way, we can’t solve the current problems with the same thinking that got us into it. So what is that new thinking?

The Future of Monetizing IP and Digital Content
Tuesday, March 16, 2021
10:15 AM to 11:10 AM CT

Brands only capture about 5% of the value they create, and a vast majority of the content created by creators goes unmonetized. Blockchain collectibles (known as Non-Fungible Token or NFTs) are an opportunity to change that by creating new revenue streams and packaging content into exclusive and provably rare digital assets. Attendees will learn about this new asset and how leading brands are leveraging collector culture and new technology to change the way artists interact with fans. Panelists will discuss cultivating digital ownership and how brands can build a digital link with their most passionate fans, attract new audiences and build new revenue streams.
